# CommunityMentions vs Vettted for brands buying Reddit mentions this month

By [Ryan Doyle](https://rpdoyle.com), founder of CommunityMentions. Updated November 7, 2026.

For a brand buying Reddit mentions this month, the deciding fact is availability. Vettted lists 10 human-written mentions for $500 (no links) or $800 (with links), but all three of its packages showed Paused on November 7, 2026. CommunityMentions, which is ours, is $1,000 a month and on sale today. If you can wait for Vettted and want a fixed order of 10, Vettted fits better.

- **Paused**: All 3 Vettted Reddit mention packages, read November 7, 2026
- **$500**: Vettted Standard: 10 mentions, no links, 14 days
- **$1,000**: CommunityMentions a month, month-to-month, on sale
- **49**: Median verified placements per client brand, 30 days to Nov 5, 2026 (55 brands)

## Quick picks: what are you doing?

- You want 10 mentions as a one-off order with a thread list to approve first, and you can wait: Vettted's Standard package ($500, no links) or Advanced ($800, with links), once its page shows them on sale again.
- You want a small, cheap Reddit-only plan: [Mention.Broker](https://communitymentions.com/mention-broker-pricing) starts at $34.99 a month for 10 mentions at its launch pricing.
- You want comments posted every day across Reddit, YouTube, Medium, LinkedIn and X without placing orders: CommunityMentions, $1,000 a month after a $1 setup charge.
- You want to read the comments before you pay anyone: the [CommunityMentions free sample](https://communitymentions.com/features/free-sample-of-reddit-comments), first comments in about 2 minutes.
- You want the full list of services that were selling on November 7: [Vettted alternatives](https://communitymentions.com/vettted-alternatives).

## CommunityMentions vs Vettted, line by line

Vettted's column comes from its Reddit mentions page, read November 7, 2026. Ours comes from our pricing section, our company facts and our delivery database.

## What do 12 months cost on each?

Vettted sells packages, not a plan, so a year of it means buying a package each month. At its listed prices, 12 Standard packages cost $6,000 for 120 mentions, and 12 Advanced packages cost $9,600. A year of CommunityMentions is 12 months at $1,000 plus the $1 setup charge, $12,001 in all. That buys daily placements on five channels, so the units differ: Vettted's count is Reddit comments you ordered, ours is verified placements across five channels. These are list prices multiplied out; Vettted's page shows no bulk or monthly discount.

| Plan | 1 month | 3 months | 12 months | Reddit comments in 12 months |
| --- | --- | --- | --- | --- |
| Vettted Standard, one package a month | $500 | $1,500 | $6,000 | 120 ordered |
| Vettted Advanced, one package a month | $800 | $2,400 | $9,600 | 120 ordered |
| CommunityMentions (ours) | $1,001 | $3,001 | $12,001 | A median of 9 verified a month in the 30 days to Nov 5, 2026, plus four other channels |

## Is a paused package worth waiting for?

It depends on what the wait costs you. Vettted's page gave no date for the packages to come back on November 7, 2026, so a brand that needs mentions live before a launch can't plan around it. A brand with no deadline that wants exactly 10 mentions, a thread list to approve and a 3-month guarantee loses little by waiting. Check the [Vettted Reddit mentions page](https://vettted.com/link-building/reddit-mentions/) for the Paused labels to come off. If they're still there, the [Vettted alternatives](https://communitymentions.com/vettted-alternatives) page lists the services that were selling that day with the same fields for each.

## Where Vettted wins

- You approve the exact threads before anything is placed. We don't send a thread list; you approve the voice and filters instead.
- A fixed, one-off price for a known count: 10 mentions for $500.
- A stated guarantee: every mention guaranteed for 3 months.
- Linked mentions on request, in the Advanced package.
- It is an SEO and link-building agency too, so Reddit can sit in one order with other link work.

## Where CommunityMentions wins

- On sale today. Vettted's three packages read Paused on November 7, 2026.
- Daily placements, not a 14-day order: we aim for 5 to 10 comments a day across Reddit, YouTube, Medium, LinkedIn and X combined.
- Five channels for one price.
- Proof every day: a Slack report linking each comment that passed our check.
- A free sample of the comments before you pay anything, and a $1 start with monthly billing only after you approve in Slack.

## How we compared

Every Vettted fact comes from vettted.com/link-building/reddit-mentions, read November 7, 2026, when all three packages read Paused. Its guarantee and account claims are its own. If its page says something different now, its page wins.

In the 30 days from October 7 to November 5, 2026, the median of 55 client brands got 49 verified placements across Reddit, YouTube, Medium, LinkedIn and X, 9 of them on Reddit. The 25th percentile was 2 and the 75th percentile 123. That count includes brands that started or paused partway through the window.
