CrowdReply alternatives for SaaS marketers: what 30 Reddit comments cost at 8 services

CrowdReply charges a plan fee plus $10, $8 or $7 per Reddit comment, and each plan includes some credits. For 30 comments that is $329 to $379 on Starter, $279 to $479 on Growth and $399 to $609 on Enterprise, depending on whether you count the credits (our arithmetic from crowdreply.io/pricing, read October 24, 2026). Seven other services are priced the same way below, for SaaS marketers.

How the prices below were worked out

CommunityMentions wrote this page and sells a competing service, so treat it as a vendor's comparison. Each figure comes from the vendor's own pricing page, read on October 24, 2026, and the vendor's page wins if it has changed since. The "30 comments" column is our arithmetic on list prices: the plan fee, if any, plus 30 times the per-comment price. CrowdReply says every plan includes engagement credits: $600, $2,400 and $3,600 a year on Starter, Growth and Enterprise. Its page does not say how a monthly plan releases them. So the table shows two numbers: the plan fee plus 30 comments at list price, and that total less one twelfth of the included credits. It leaves out annual prepay and discounts. We picked 30 because it is close to a month of Reddit work for one product. Our own delivery database shows the median CommunityMentions client brand got 69 verified placements in the 30 days to September 28, 2026 (65 brands), 27 of them on Reddit, so our flat price is not divided by comment. Strandline Research's price comparison of Reddit marketing services (same owner as us) lays out the wider field.

What CrowdReply sells now

CrowdReply's home page calls it "The #1 AI Search Visibility Tool" and says it is the only such platform with a built-in Engagement Engine. It bundles tracking of AI answers with offsite mentions. CrowdReply's home page shows a 7-day free trial. Its pricing page lists three plans by number of brands, AI prompts and tracked keywords, with the Reddit comment price falling from $10 to $7 as the plan goes up. Two details matter when you compare. Reddit is the only channel its comparison table marks as available for posting, with Quora and Facebook marked "Coming Soon". And the home page does not say what accounts post or who owns them; the pricing page says posts go through its network of platform-native accounts and editors.

Why teams look for a CrowdReply alternative

  • Two products in one price. The $79 plan fee also pays for AI search tracking and social listening, and it includes $600 a year of engagement credits, so a month with few comments still costs $79 (crowdreply.io/pricing, read October 24, 2026).
  • A narrower channel list. Posting is Reddit only today. Our plan covers Reddit, YouTube, Medium, LinkedIn and X.
  • A tool, not a done-for-you team. CrowdReply sells the platform and its network; you pick threads and set the brief. With CommunityMentions you approve the voice in Slack and the comments are posted daily.
  • Proof of each comment. Our daily Slack report links every comment that passed the same-day check and counts the removed ones. CrowdReply's pages do not describe a per-comment report.

Where CrowdReply still wins

  • Cost at volume. At $7 a comment on Enterprise, 100 comments is $700 of comments on a $399 plan that includes $300 a month of credits, so about $799 (our arithmetic from crowdreply.io/pricing, read October 24, 2026). A flat $1,000 plan is the better price only when you also want the other channels and the posting handled.
  • A money-back window. CrowdReply lists a 30-day refund on a subscription. Ours is month-to-month with no refund for partial months, and the $1 setup charge is refunded if no posts are delivered in the first week.
  • AI visibility tracking in the same product. Its plans include tracked AI prompts and models. We post and report comments and do not sell a tracking dashboard.
  • Self-serve control. You can start on Starter without a call and set the pace yourself.

Which one fits

If you want to buy comments by the unit and run the project yourself, CrowdReply, ReplyAgent and Mention.Broker are the cheaper routes for 30 comments a month, and the table shows the order. Mention.Broker's $89.99 and ReplyAgent's $120 are the lowest listed prices for posted comments, and neither includes the reporting we send. To choose where to post first, the free subreddit finder ranks 211 subreddits by AI citations. If you want the whole job done, with posting across five channels and a link to every live comment, CommunityMentions is $1,000 a month and starts with a free sample of the comments we would post for your site.
