What we store

When you request a free sample, we store your website address, the email you give us, and the sample we build: the keywords, competitors and Reddit conversations we found, and the comments we drafted. The sample is also saved as a Google Sheet that anyone with its link can view, so we can send it to you.

Clients' brand details, approved comments and delivery reports are stored to run the service and are shared with the people who post the comments. Payments are handled by Stripe; we never see your card number.

Emails and Slack

We email you the sample and up to three follow-ups from ryan@communitymentions.com. A reply, a payment, or asking us to stop ends them. Paying clients work with us in a private Slack channel.

Analytics

This site uses Simple Analytics, DataFast, Hotjar and WhyUsersLeave to count visits and see where pages confuse people. The sample form uses Cloudflare Turnstile to block bots.

The CommunityMentions plugin for AI assistants

The CommunityMentions plugin (the MCP server at communitymentions.com/api/mcp, used from Claude, ChatGPT, Cursor and other AI assistants) receives only what its tools need: a short product or niche description, or a subreddit name. It does not ask for your name or email, it does not store your conversation, and it does not store what you asked. We record which tool was called, whether it worked and how long it took, to count use. Its results come from our own data about subreddits and the Reddit threads AI answers cite; they never include a person's name or email address.

Your data

We do not sell your data. To delete your sample or your account, email ryan@communitymentions.com and everything above is removed within 7 days.
